I spent about three days driving around the Fuji Five Lakes region in Yamanashi Prefecture, really glad I rented a car as it allowed me to easily navigate the region and seek out clear views based on changing cloud cover.
Although I didn't manage to visit some of the iconic spots that are usually featured on social media, I figured I would save those spots for future trips when I'm there during the best conditions.
This was a rather chill trip, and the locations chosen were away from the typical touristy photo spots, so I hope you enjoyed this different and quieter Mt. Fuji experience!
