The Hupfeld Animatic-Clavitist is a small restaurant model orchestrion built during the 1920s. It usually consisted of a piano with mandolin attachment (Model M), a piano with mandolin and xylophone (Model X), or the "jazz band model" with a drum box that stood next to the piano (in rare cases on top of it) (Model J). This Animatic-Clavitist here is a Model 7X and was built in 1927 in a rare cherry case, with the xylophone in the piano case behind the motor.
