Nate Hartman, the Dauch Family Professor of Advanced Manufacturing, introduces IN-MaC, Purdue University's Indiana Manufacturing Competitiveness Center. IN-MaC was created in 2013 to help companies in Indiana with their transformation to Industry 4.0 digital manufacturing. At Purdue's Indiana Manufacturing Institute facility in West Lafayette, Indiana, IN-MaC has an intelligent manufacturing testbed for research and technology demonstrations. The location also features a Design and Innovation Studio, a replica of the facility and equipment in place at over 100 elementary schools and industry partners across the state.
