"Rose Hill Activities" was made by young people from Rose Hill Youth Club with support from filmmakers from Film Oxford. It explores what free sports, creative activities, and green spaces young people can enjoy on the estate. It was made during the summer half-term of 2024 and screened at a free big-screen event at Rose Hill Community Centre, along with a family animated feature film in July 2024.
Many thanks to the James Cowper Kreston Foundation for funding the workshops to create this film. Thanks also to Rose Hill Community Centre for hosting the workshops (and Oxford City Council who manage the community centre).
The Premiere Big Screen event was funded by Oxford University Small Grants, Oxford City Councillor Ed Turner and Oxfordshire County Councillor Trish Elphinstone.
