After the devastation of Southern Thailand and Malaysia, where the historic monsoon rainstorm dumped more rain in 24 hours than anytime in 300 years and it's still raining heavily all over the region from Surat Thani, Hat Yai ( the worst damage of all), Malaysian border towns and the huge Indonesian island of Sumatra. It was time to leave as the rain headed south right in to my area of Bali, and I do not want to be caught out by a record amount of rainfall.
