A WA Police officer has died in Royal Perth Hospital after he was hit and dragged by a car in Perth's East.
Police were following a Holden Astra with stolen number plates last Thursday morning before stopping in Perth's East at 1am.
While officers attempted to arrest the three people inside the vehicle, one police officer was hit by the car and dragged while stuck underneath.
The 28-year-old Constable Anthony Woods passed away today from critical injuries.
