Looking to build a compact and fully functional track junction with Märklin C-Track? In this video, we’ll show you how to create a double crossover – also known in railway circles as a "scissors crossover", a "diamond crossing with turnouts", or in German: a "Hosenträger".

Using just four turnouts and a diamond crossing, this configuration allows trains to switch from one track to the other in both directions. It’s ideal for station throats, staging yards, or any situation requiring maximum flexibility in a small space.
