Launch days are never just about the program. They’re about the intent in the room and the people who show up to build something meaningful.
The PEARL launch was exactly that—a gathering of leaders who believe in learning without inhibition.
We opened with our Director, Academics, Ms. Bini Thomas, followed by an inaugural note by Mr. Hari Ramasubramanian, from IBM Innovation Center for Education. Our Chief Guest, Ms. Thejaswini Ramesh from IBM Security, gave an enlightening keynote on emerging technologies and career trends. We had a lamp-lighting ceremony where all our distinguished guests along with Mr. Viqaruddin Surki (IBM ICE), Ms. Gopika S Nair COO (Q2D), and Dr. R.G. D’ Souza, Academic Advisor, Programmes and Initiatives. Ms. Gopika Nair also delivered an enlightening talk on PEARL.
Post-lunch, a panel discussion on “Empowering Institutions for 2030” included Mr. Ramasubramanian, Sunita Saldanha, Mr. Biju Parameswaran (K-DISC), and Dr. Jitendra Singh Shekhawat, focusing on AI, innovation, and employability, which was moderated by Dr. R G D’Souza. We concluded with audience interactions and testimonials from Mr. Jenty Joy (MBITS College) and Ms. Srividya Sen, (S-VYASA University).
The PEARL ecosystem is set to support the next chapter of institutional readiness.
