It was his song The Prayer, during his PGT days and his performance in the Wish Bus that catapulted him to popularity. He later joined the talent contest 2019 AGT Champion Edition presented by Terry Crews. Shin Lim won the contest but Marcelito showcased his ability to seamlessly switch from male to female voices and vice versa. Everyone was surprised and gave a thunderous applause.
