As Delhi gears up for elections, NDTV's reporter Ahtasham Khan visited the VP Singh Camp in Tughlakabad, a slum located near the Okhla landfill. Home to thousands, the area is plagued by appalling living conditions and a lack of basic amenities such as proper roads, access to clean drinking water, and functional sewage systems.

The proximity to the landfill exposes inhabitants to toxic air, flying debris, and frequent flooding during the rainy season. These conditions have resulted in severe health issues, further exacerbating the challenges faced by the community.
