Sydney Lipton and His New Grosvenor House Band (as Sydney Raymond and His Commanders) play a medley of tunes from the film "Gold Diggers Of 1933". I believe these recordings are identical to the 10 inch Sterno issue, but it doesn't sound like a dub so I can only assume two masters were recorded simultaneously. Both sides on this Plaza issue are labelled as part 1!
Sydney Lipton - violin, directing: Freddy Clayton - trumpet/ Bud Hammond - trombone/ Cyril Grantham - alto sax, clarinet, vocals/ Jimmy Goss (or Freddy Gardner?) - alto sax, baritone sax, clarinet/ Con Lamprecht - tenor sax, clarinet/ two violins/ Ron Ogilvie - piano, vocals/ Harry Thorne - guitar/ Bob Lamont - brass bass/ Jock Jacobson - drums, vibraphone/ one other band member sings
Titles in order: "The Gold Diggers' Song" (v3), "Shadow Waltz", "Remember My Forgotten Man", "I've Got To Sing A Torch Song" and "Pettin' In The Park" (vCG)
Plaza P. 135
L-1182-1 and L-1183-1
Recorded in the British Homophone Co,'s London studios on Friday, 8th September 1933
