Free Camping on the Boyd River along the Old Glen Innes Road to Dalmorton

Описание: Join us on a two-night free camping adventure to the historic gold rush ghost town of Dalmorton in New South Wales! We head out along the scenic Old Glen Innes Road and find an absolutely stunning campsite right beside the beautiful Boyd River.

In this video, we settle in for a relaxing family getaway filled with classic Aussie camping experiences. Watch as we cook up bacon and eggs for breakfast, make a perfect brew with Artisti Coffee Roasters drip bags, and explore the river, even finding a hidden rope swing! I try my hand at gold sniping (spoiler: I'm still learning!), and my daughter shows us her masterclass in making fluffy camp oven damper, which we smother in butter and golden syrup.

After our peaceful stay, we pack up and explore what's left of the Dalmorton township before taking the adventurous Chaelundi Road for our journey home. This scenic dirt road leads us through Guy Fawkes River National Park, Chaelundi State Conservation Area, and Mount Hyland Nature Reserve, complete with a few unexpected roadblocks!
