Here is a beginner-friendly technique to paint purity seals for Warhammer 40k miniatures.
This miniature painting recipe is perfect for:
-40k Black Templars
-Sternguard Veterans
-Bladeguard Veterans
-Space Marines
-Grey Knights
-Battle Sisters
-Or any tabletop miniature with a purity seal element.
1. Base with a dark ochre or create a dark ochre with a tan and black mix.
2. Then paint ever other flat spot with warm grey paint for the first coat.
3. Finally, use a light grey and highlight only the edges of the parchment.
4. You can glaze with the base ochre as a final step to tie the colors together, but not necessary.
