From the 2019 demo which garnered them international notoriety, San Luis Obispo's MEPHITIC CORPSE are finally ready to release their long awaited debut album "SICKNESS ATTRACTS SICKNESS".

Over the past 5 years, MEPHITIC CORPSE have been able to enjoy multiple domestic tours, festival appearances, and a European tour; all thanks to their celebrated and now revered 2019 demo "IMMENSE THICKENING VOMIT". Now they stand to deliver a very worthy and more substantial follow up to this now illustrious demonstration.

The family tree that has cropped up surrounding this demo tape - bands such as NECROPSY ODOR, SEPTIC FUMES, PUS EMULSION, and MAGGOTIZED VERTEBRAE all bare the visual likeness of each other - a now established niche form of "savagery detection" which informs the well initiated of what's in store for them just from a glance at the cover and logo alone.

One might suggest that this band could be recommended for fans of their California contemporaries, namely FETID, as well as other old school acts such as DISGORGED (NY) and MORDICUS, not just sonically but also because of the limited output that contains such memorable and impactful, muddy and vomitous death metal. Upon the true coronation of their career with the release of this full length album, they are now - more than ever - officially blossoming like the reeking corpseflower they are. Prepare yourself for a bacteria-infested, suppurating wound that just can't seem to be closed...

US vomit grinders MEPHITIC CORPSE are set to unleash their debut full-length album, Sickness Attracts Sickness. The album offers 11 tracks of violently brutal grindcore not for the weak of heart!

Sickness Attracts Sickness will be out on Saturday, February 1 2025, on digital and physical formats. Extremely Rotten Productions will release the album to European audiences with Headsplit Records (vinyl, CD and cassette) and 625 Thrashcore (vinyl and CD) releasing the album in the US.
