What happens when 3-year-old Moraima tries to speak Galician with Siri? We learn why Digital Language Equality is so important and why it's necessary to support all languages through tools and technologies like voice assistants. In order to preserve them, promote their use and make the digital world accessible through every language.
This is what the research projects European Language Equality (ELE) and European Language Grid (ELG) are working towards, by preparing a roadmap towards Digital Language Equality in Europe and providing a platform for all European language technology.
