The FLYMOTION team responds to a call from a local news station who needed assistance covering their story about an man attacked by an alligator in the Myakka River. The reporter explained that the diver lost the GoPro camera attached to his diving mask that was recording during the attack.

While a team of divers had been sent to recover the missing footage, they came up empty-handed. NBC2 News inquired if FLYMOTION could pilot an underwater drone in hopes of locating the missing footage.

Armed with the Chasing Underwater M2, members of the FLYMOTION operations team responded to the call. Once on scene at the river, they deployed the submersible drone to begin mapping the river bed using our own GoPro mount to find the missing camera.
