Highly optimised versions that run on a stock c64 with quality enhancements for the following. SSDPCM-MP V2 2- 7950, 9600 and 11200hz. SSDPCM-MP V2 1 - 9600hz.
Earlier variants (at 7812hz) were used in the c64 demo sampleblaster, however the quality left a lot to be desired. Algodreams used the 15khz variant but had to keep the screen off and used all cpu time.
Total NMI and realtime depack time as low as 25% (For 1bit variant at 7950hz) Around 11.2khz at approximately 60% usage. Pack rate is just over a quarter of the original size and quality is increased with higher sample rate due to faster changes of step values per frame.
The examples show each section run from the specific folder on the drive indicating whether they are 11.2khz, 9.6khz or 8khz.
Samples are depacked while playing back allowing approximately 200k of samples to be stored in the c64's ram. The routine has sequence and streaming capabilities but only demonstrating here direct playback from ram.
