This series is my first playthrough of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North. This is an action role-playing game that captures the more gritty, mature tone of Tolkien's world. The story follows three heroes - Eradan (a Dúnedain Ranger), Andriel (an Elven Loremaster), and Farin (a Dwarven Champion) - as they embark on a crucial mission in the northern regions of Middle-earth, at the same time Frodo and the Fellowship are journeying south.
Our heroes must defend the North from Agandaûr, one of Sauron's deadly servants using a combination of combat skills, magic, and dwarven rage.

The setting will feel familiar to fans of the Lord of the Rings films and other fantasy RPGs like Dragon Age and The Witcher.
The story delves deep into Lord of the Rings lore, giving insight into the Third Age factions like the Dúnedain, Nazgûl and Great Eagles. The game features familiar characters Gandalf, Aragorn and Bilbo, as well as some of the lesser-known Middle Earth characters; Gwaihir, Elladan & Elrohir, Radagast and Halbarad.

Game locations vary a lot, we journey through Rivendell, Gundabad, Mirkwood, Carn Dûm and more. The game offers a unique perspective on Middle Earth, showing the brutal conflicts that raged in the northern lands while the Fellowship made their way to Mordor.
This series will guide you from the very beginning of War in the North, giving a walkthrough of each quest and area. I'll show off the different character builds, abilities, weapons, armors and upgrades and while I won't 100% the game on the first playthrough you'll get an overview of the gameplay and features.

This is a standalone game that serves as a companion story to the main Lord of the Rings trilogy and a real hidden gem but unfortunately it did not receive a sequel and also can’t easily be obtained now.
