This is just a short video of the Daylesford Spa Country Railway's preserved 1970's Tulloch diesel rail car DRC40 running from the storage shed to the platform at Daylesford prior to running a members Christmas special on 10 December 2011.
Also included at the start of the video are the crew heading out to the shed in a Comeng trolley formerly used by Australian National Railways on the standard gauge.
These railcars operated on the mainline until early 1994 when they were withdrawn and replaced by the newer Sprinters. At the time of writing DRC40 is the only one in operational condition and regularly runs the Silver Streak food and wine train on the first Saturday of the month from Daylesford station (http://www.dscr.com.au/)
