Central Florida’s Blood Bank – OneBlood has sent us a cry for help. “The coronavirus is heightening the need for a ready blood supply. As businesses and school shutdown, OneBlood is experiencing rapid cancellations of blood drives. We need your continued support. Every blood donation is crucial.”
In partnership with them we have arranged for the Big Red Bus to be at 2 locations on June 6, 2020.

With each location we are providing you a link to go online and make an appointment. For everyone’s protection it is necessary to make an appointment, that way you can stay in your car and they will call you when it is your turn to board the bus. As an incentive, OneBlood is offering; every donor will receive: a t-shirt, a wellness checkup (includes blood pressure, pulse, temperature and cholesterol screening.) and a free COVID19 antibody test.

We know in this current virus situation many have lost jobs and possibly were unable to give or unable to give as much as they would like during our special missions campaign. This by extension may be another part of our giving. Just as all may not be able to give money, all may not be able to give blood. However, just as every dollar helps, we can feel assured that every pint of blood is essential to meet someone's need.
