This group formed in 1948 and their blended style of harmonizing became a major influence on countless groups that followed. Their influence can be heard on songs by The Hi-Lo's, The Lettermen, The Four Preps, The Four Seasons, & The Manhattan Transfer. Perhaps their strongest influence can be heard in the Beach Boys hit In My Room. This song reached #17 on the Billboard charts in 1956.
Other well-known hits include Its A Blue World, Mood Indigo and Day By Day.
