Macross Retrospective: Macross Plus Parts 1 & 2

Описание: This one was made in 2019 and original released in 2 parts. Although an excellent anime in its own right and I do rewatch it often, I don't like this one as much as Macross Zero but it is better than Macross II. I sometimes stated in the past that it is my least favorite Macross OVA while forgetting about Macross II. I state my reasons for it being such which is surprising to even me as I picked this one up in Japan after watching Do You Remember Love and it pushed me more into searching out the rest of the franchise.

Compared to the original two parts that are on the website, this version for YouTube has been fairly heavily trimmed down. Getting this one approved for YouTube the first time out on the old channel (and other subsequent times) was a nightmare as it kept getting blocked worldwide. It took anywhere between 10-12 versions for this channel alone with a ton of the "trying not to get blocked" watermark on the footage. I realize it is annoying seeing all that but I literally did not have a choice. Molebeat, the company that keeps claiming the Macross videos, will find the smallest things to block me worldwide for.

You will notice that the second half of this video has some discoloration. I don't know how that happened but I imagine putting this through all the changes didn't help much.
