In this short 3Ds Max tutorial, you’ll learn how to use the Sweep modifier to extrude a custom profile along a manually created path.
We begin by creating a new line by clicking on the top vertices of a Box model. After that, we apply the Sweep modifier to this line, activate Use Custom Section, and select a predefined profile.
To make the profile align properly, we tweak the Pivot Alignment settings.
