Safety and Security Upgrade of the BiH Ammunition and Weapons Storage Sites (SAFE-UP)

Описание: During the 5-years implementation of the Safety and Security Upgrade of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ammunition and Weapons Storage Sites (SAFE-UP), the OSCE and its donors have helped improve the capacity of the Armed Forces of BiH to manage and secure their ammunition and weapons stockpiles.
This project would not have been possible without the generous financial (app 2 million euro), and in-kind contributions of many international partners.
The concrete achievements of this project are: 1) establishing a state-of-the-art ammunition-testing laboratory; 2) upgrading physical security infrastructure and acquiring firefighting and deactivation equipment at five military weapons and ammunition storage sites; and 3) equipping guard and administration buildings at two ammunition storage sites.
