Part 3 of the "Connecticut Trout Tour" takes place on Leadmine Brook in Connecticut's Litchfield Hills. This is a fine, little trout stream that slips through the hilly woodlands of Northwestern Connecticut before eventually emptying into the Naugatuck River.
The goal with each entry in the "Connecticut Trout Tour" series is to catch at least one trout on the subject watercourse. The last two rivers really made me WORK for just one trout, but Leadmine Brook was really quite generous. I managed a trifecta (brookie-brown-rainbow) with fish to spare!
