Smother Fried Chicken
As a child, the smell of chicken frying in my little neighborhood is a wonderful memory. We played outside on summer afternoons till almost dark. But then the smell of all that good food started to permeate the air all around us. Our mothers were all cooking supper in our little neighborhood. They were frying pork chops, some frying chicken, Some grilling out but no one had gone to a @hamburger joint or chicken place to pick up a bag of hamburgers or chicken. All our mamas were at home, cooking their own meals for their families. Boy ,how times have changed. Did you live in a neighborhood? Did you experience the same thing as I did ??
