There have been great endings players careers. There have been terrible endings to players careers. What happened to Kenny Lofton transcends anyone else's finish to a career, given the circumstances. It is the most anticlimactic ending to a player's career ever.
NOTE: Lofton only played in TWO (2) world series. Not three. My mistake there.
