Participants took part in a rich program combining workshops, cultural experiences, and artistic activities focused on gender equality. One of the central elements was a comprehensive workshop led by educator and art therapist Lukasz Szeliga, who introduced key concepts such as gender roles, stereotypes, and modern methods for teaching gender equality. The session created an open, reflective space where everyone could share ideas, develop critical thinking skills, and gain practical tools to promote equality in their own environments.
Another important activity was a photography class taught by photographer and teacher Tomasz Sobczak, who explained the principles of composition and prepared participants for a photo contest on gender equality. The opening ceremony also included introductions of all international participants and a warm welcome from the school leadership.
The mobility included cultural exploration as well. Participants visited Kraków, discovering its historical landmarks such as Wawel Castle, the Royal Way, and the Main Square. During the tour, the guide highlighted how artworks across history can reinforce—or challenge—gender stereotypes.
A creative component of the program involved researching and presenting the achievements of women artists. These activities encouraged reflection on the persistent gender inequalities in the art world, where women’s works are still often undervalued. Through this discussion, participants explored how female artists use their work to make women’s experiences visible and advocate for change.
Overall, the program combined educational sessions, artistic practice, and cultural learning, helping participants deepen their understanding of gender equality while building a strong international community.
