Daniel Fried, former US ambassador in Poland discusses Russian messaging on the war in Ukraine with Ecaterina Miscisina, the Marie Colvin Center Community Solutions Fellow from Moldova. Ambassador Fried was an architect of NATO enlargement policy and helped to craft the West's response to Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014. He is currently a Weiser Family Distinguished Fellow at the Atlantic Council.
This interview forms part of the research project, "Mapping Russian narratives about the war in Ukraine. What Putin wants us to hear and how his message is getting through to the US."
