Описание: Saint George Monastery is located near Doxa Lake, in the area of Feneos, Corinth Greece. One of the oldest monasteries in the area, it was build in the 17th century when the old monastery ( which was located in the center of Doxa lake) was submerged when water filled in the valley. The monks decided to build the new monastery up in the mountain hill, where the new monastery is located.
