Описание: The National Trophy Team Match is one of the most coveted team rifle events of the season. Each year, at Camp Perry, Ohio the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's Service Rifle Team travels to the Civilian Marksmanship Program's National Matches to test their abilities. In this match, the Soldiers competed head-to-head against 46 other six-man teams in a course of fire that was first fired in 1903. All the competitors shot 10 rounds in both a standing slow-fire (10 minutes) and a rapid sitting/kneeling-fire (60 seconds) from the 200-yard line. Then, they move back to the 300-yard line for the prone from standing fire. At this last phase of the "National (Dogs of War) Trophy," the competitors fire off 20 rounds from the 600-yard line with a time limit of 20-minutes. At the end of the day, USAMU Craig seized the champion title and broke the 2006 record with a score of 2968-141x. The old record of 2958-113x was set by U.S. Marine Corps team Arrieta and stood unbeaten for 12 years. In this video, Sgt. 1st Class Shane Barnhart is firing while Staff Sgt. Joseph Peterson reads the wind and Sgt. 1st Class Walter Craig watches Barnhart's hits and calls adjustments based on the wind calls.
