Showing a step by step removal of the door panel and repair of a broken power wire for the window switch on my 2013 Ford Edge.
**Based on comments (see below) and my experience, here's a few suggestions:
1) You definitely don't have to take the door apart to fix the broken wire. Taking the door off the hinge is a must though.
2) To REALLY fix the wire, you should splice in a 2"-3" wire extension and solder the end into the wire harness. I didn't add an extension and the problem came back in a month. The original problem is that the wire is too short.
