In this form, Heramba Ganapati rides a lion instead of a mouse. He protects the weak and vanquishes enemies. Heramba Ganapati is a tantric form of Lord Ganesha. Generally Heramba Ganapati worship has gone out of vogue as tantra worship is now forgotten. His upasana can be used for all the six kriyas of Shanti, Vashikarana, Mohana, Vidweshana, Ucchatana, and Marana as well as protection from all of these.

Worshippers of Heramba Ganapati become bold and courageous, they know no fear, they receive siddhis and karya siddhi. Problems in jobs or any kind of obstacle gets removed by worshipping Heramba Ganapati. He helps save us from graha doshas. One becomes confident of self and is filled with karuna for others.

Heramba Ganapati is often seen with five heads and riding a lion. This is a later iconography. In the more than 1500 years old 6th century Parashurameshwar temple, Heramba Ganapati is shown with lion but with a single elephant head. This temple was a tantra peetha and this specific Heramba Ganapati is very powerful.

This mantra is highly effective for resolving long pending issues or for projects where sudden problem has crept up. Good for getting job and success in business.
