In utterly appauling weather, and a first for the class in a shape of what's to come (minus three locos!), GBRf 99001 and 99002 along with 66301 and 66721, are seen 5 times along the East Suffolk Line's counterpart between Derby Road and Trimley.
Captured at Decoy Wood, Levington, Derby Road, Nacton and Stratton Hall under the workings in order of 4Q26, 4Q28, 4Z28 and 4Q30 all to and from Ipswich and Felixstowe, the quadruple header is seen getting through its paces, with a reported 2470 tonnes on the drawhook.
Apologies for the quality of the final shot at Stratton Hall. One word for today... rain!
