Описание:
I wake up late on Day 2 after a solid night’s sleep. Today becomes an unplanned zero day—no hiking—giving my IT band time to recover. Instead, I stay in camp and slow things way down, taking my time with fire-building and meals. I carve a Burtonsville Rig to hang my water pot at different heights over the fire. Later, I hike up a nearby hill for a view back down into the valley and my camp below, but the day is ultimately about rest and recovery.
Tomorrow, I return to my off-trail pursuits, with more surprises and some beautiful and old traces of humans ahead still ahead.
