London, 1880s. A townhouse that has seen better days.
The wallpaper is peeling in the corners. The velvet armchair is worn through. The chandelier is missing crystals. But the tea is still served on silver — dented silver, yes, but polished every morning by hands that remember when this family name meant something.
He is the last of his line. A poet. A gentleman. A beautiful ruin.
He wakes when respectable people are finishing lunch. He writes verses and burns them. He drinks wine at noon because inspiration demands sacrifice.
Tonight, a salon awaits.
Tonight — tonight there will be champagne, candlelight, and applause.
This is his day. From silk sheets to gaslit streets. From solitude to society. From noon to dawn.
