Resi Stiegler, US Ski Team Member, grew up skiing and race training at the Snow King Ski Area and Mountain Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Resi Stiegler was born and raised in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Resi Stiegler is hoping to compete in the Sochi Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia as a member of the US Ski Team women's Slalom Team.
Resi Stiegler specializes in both Slalom and Giant Slalom Alpine ski racing. Her early training with the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club is the early foundation of her ski racing career. Resi is one of the best Alpine ski racers in the world.
Resi Stiegler is following in the footsteps of her Austrian father, Pepi Stiegler, who won a Olympic God Medal in Slalom at the 1964 Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria after winning a Olympic Bronz Medal in Alpine Giant Slalom earlier in those same Olympic Winter Games.
In 1960, Pepi Stiegler won an Olympic Silver Medal in Giant Slalom at the Olympics in Squaw Valley, California.
Pepi Stiegler went on to become the Ski School Director for the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ski area.
Snow King Ski Area is the first ski area in Jackson Hole and at 75 years old, Snow King is a skiing legend.
