Ice Mario's Unused Attack in Super Mario Galaxy

It seems that Ice Mario could originally spin attack an octoomba to turn it into an Ice Block. This Block is unused in Super Mario Galaxy and is internally named "IceBox". Destroying this block gives you three starbits and a single coin. You could also move the blocks around planets and stand on top of them. However attacking an octoomba as Ice Mario to spawn this block usually results in a clip inside of the planet. This is most likely the reason this feature went unused.
