this took WAY too long.
like, WAY too long.

I just couldn't do it, and honestly, I had started losing hope.
The engine just hated me. I decided to change my calibration - dropped video lag down to 0 and moved audio lag up a bit to make it earlier, and it actually worked - suddenly I was comboing the start of the solo everytime and got to where it switches to YRRR(R), but always missed there.

This was my first run ever FCing past the solo, so I was incredibly fortunate to not choke. I was very nervous, I swear I started losing my vision for a few seconds after I hit the long snare roll lmao. I was fully expecting an outro choke, but I'm just so glad it didn't happen.

Thanks to Nuke for encouraging me and watching me get this. Each run I got to the solo he'd say "LETS GO JOEL" lmao, and then had a nice celebration when I finally got past the solo and also FC'd hahahaha. :)

This leaves 6, and honestly, they're not happening. Maybe Dyer's Eve on a really good day, but that's it. The other 5 I can't do. I'm just not THAT good lol.
I've already done miles better than I ever thought I would do - I never thought I would FC any song above 170bpm, so I'm somewhat satisfied. I will keep trying to improve somewhat but don't get your hopes up. I won't have the time to dedicate to drums soon as University starts in late February and I really want to get off to a good start there.

Also, I got these three recent FCs in a 24 hour timeframe lmao. Bit of a throwback to when I FC'd Raining Blood, TTFAF and Chemical Warfare all in 24 hours on X drums, but this time is so much more impressive lol.
