Описание: ژنو، دومین شهر پر جمعیت کشور سوییس و مرکز استانی به همین نام است که در حاشیه ی دریاچه ژنو قرار گرفته است. این شهر در سال های گذشته به عنوان یکی از بهترین و با کیفیت ترین شهرهای جهان برای زندگی معرفی شده است.ژنو ۱۲۱ سال قبل از میلاد مسیح به عنوان عضوی از رم شناخته شد و در سال ۱۷۹۸، تحت سلطه ی کشور فرانسه درآمد. این شهر تاریخ پر فراز نشیبی داشت اما بالاخره در سال ۱۸۱۵، به کنفدراسیون سوییس پیوست و جزیی از این کشور شد.ژنو آب و هوای بسیار معتدل و خوشی دارد. زمستان های آن سرد و یخی و استخوان سوز و تابستان های آن بسیار خوشایند و گرم است .

The city has had a turbulent history, but finally joined the Swiss Confederation in 1815 and became part of the country. Geneva has a very mild and pleasant climate. Its winters are cold, icy and bone-chilling, and its summers are very pleasant and warm.
