On the second day at Gokarna, I visited Yana Caves and Vibhooti falls. It is approximately 50 Kms from Gokarna. I rented out a scooter & set out on my short road trip, exploring the countryside & beautiful roads through a jungle.
Yana caves is an amazing cave formation, pitch black in color, the cave is formed of karst limestone, well-known for its unique structure.
Vibhooti falls is an amazing spot for a swim to cool of in the hot weather. It involves a short trek of around 1 Km to reach the falls from the entrance.
It is important to note that there are no petrol bunks on the way to Yana caves, but local shops sell petrol at a higher cost. Options for food is limited too.
