HOW TO ADJUST Auger Belt On a Honda Snow Blower !

WHY? if you belt is slipping and you notice your augers slowing down or even stopping under load. , Under load means while throwing snow. They could turn fine while the bucket is empty but you notice they slow down or stop when trying to blow snow.

This could mean your auger belt / idler pulley needs adjusting.

Easy to do. Remove belt cover and see auger Idler wheel, loosen nut in front with 12 mm wrench ( does not have to be removed, and then adjust wheel half way in ( most cases ) or more and then test augers under load to see if you have any improvement,

If NOT, then maybe the belt is old and worn and stretched out and may need max adjustment in or belt replacement.
