Today I'm hanging out with my friend Eddie at his homestay in Aceh, cooking up some incredible Acehnese/Sumatran/Indonesian VEGAN food....I'm not vegetarian or vegan but I LOVE this dish and order it more than anything else on the whole menu! It is definitely a classic favourite for everyone who stays here. It's a pretty simple one, just made the proper way by Eddie with fresh and healthy ingredients: Tempe, Tofu, Sprouts, Tomato, Scallions, Red Onion, Lemongrass, Bay Leaf, Salt, Pepper, Kecap Manis, Soy Sauce....oh and don't forget the green Chilli ;)
