ABOUT US

Southern Comforts has, since its inception in 2016, become one of Denmark's most seasoned and well-traveled live bands, with countless shows across Denmark and the Faroe Islands, performing at everything from festivals to club events, and from intimate venues to high-energy corporate parties and private events.

The band's musical identity is rooted in US-inspired roots music, interpreted with their unique character and delivered in a dynamic cocktail of high energy, top quality, and a great sense of humour.

Their repertoire spans coast to coast through the decades, covering legendary names like Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings, touching on the 70s with Eagles, The Band, and Little Feat, and moving into modern times with artists like Vince Gill, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, and Blackberry Smoke.

With Faroese Rogvi Sigurdsson's super-authentic vocals, Søren Sarstrup's twanging rock ’n roll guitar, and solid swing combined with heavenly harmonies from Dan Grau on bass and Ulli Pedersen on drums and backing vocals, you can listen, sing along, drink beer, dance—or maybe do all four at the same time!
