Instead, young people are pushed to become full-time pioneers, dedicating over 60 hours a month to field service — all while the organization itself sits on an estimated $1–50 billion in assets, including massive real estate holdings.

We’ll unpack the contradiction: why are members discouraged from pursuing education and financial independence while the leadership lives comfortably, with housing, allowances, and travel — all under the label of “volunteer work”?
