On January 31, 2023, Hudson Police Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic dispute between a mother and her daughter. When they arrived, they discovered that the 23-year-old daughter was on a date, but had called her mom because her car became disabled with 4 flat tires. The mother and daughter got into a verbal argument, which resulted in the mother allegedly slapping the daughter. The daughter admitted to consuming alcohol, so she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was arrested for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI) and was transported to the Hudson police station. She submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.228% BAC. After receiving a citation, officers gave her a ride home to her mother's house. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
