T cell engagers (TCEs) are an innovative class of therapies designed to harness the power of the immune system by directing T cells to eliminate disease-causing cells. One promising target for TCEs is CD19, a protein expressed broadly on B cells. CD19-targeted TCEs bring T cells in direct contact with autoreactive B cells, facilitating their destruction and potentially offering a new approach to treating autoimmune diseases.
