This episode draws from Luke 5, Matthew 14, Matthew 16, Matthew 17, Matthew 26, John 18, John 20, and John 21. One of the most carefully hidden details in the entire New Testament is the Greek word anthrakia — charcoal fire. It appears only twice in the whole Bible: once in John 18 at the courtyard where Peter denied Jesus, and once in John 21 on the beach where Jesus restored him. The same word. The same warmth. A deliberate echo that most readers never notice. This episode was built around that detail.
