I first got into singing at the age of 13, inspired mainly by Michael Kiske and later Geoff Tate. But it wasn't until 2017 that I discovered Warrel Dane through Sanctuary—just months before his unfortunate passing. Sanctuary then led me to Nevermore. Warrel's ability to blend raw emotion with intricate, heavy music resonated with me deeply, and Nevermore’s unique approach to songwriting, compared to other bands with similar vocal styles, has been a massive influence on me.
I’ve always strived to balance technicality with authenticity—brutal riffs contrasting with dramatic vocals—something I felt Warrel and Nevermore embodied like nothing I had ever heard before.
Personally, I work extensively on my voice and technique, but above all, I believe in singing with honesty and intensity!
