Описание: This camera choir grew out of a musical project that was initiated by the current musical director, which after a careful selection of its members ended up with this formation which has been the same since 2003.

The main repertoire of the choir is vocal music from the renaissance period: Madrigals, Frottolas, Villanelles as well as an important repertoire caldron of sacral polyphony. Without leaving aside other styles, the choir also a repertoire of more popular music from the Balearic Islands and from around the world and also traditional music for wedding ceremonies, as the choir singers understand that music has no frontiers and its language is universal.

The choirs philosophy is to enjoy singing, learning and bettering themselves each day, each rehearsal and in every new note learnt they strive to sound better and we put all of our heart into achieving this. Music is a passionate discipline, one which gives enormous satisfaction to those who dedicated their selves to it. In return it demands a great study effort and compromise which all the choir members assume with great enthusiasm.


The choir has 20 members made up of what would be called a mixed choir, meaning men and women divided into four sections or four voices each one sounding with they own melody. Sopranos, contraltos, tenors, bass are the vocal classification and then eventually the choir can be accompanied by instruments (piano, small percussive or wind instruments which are sometimes played by the same singers, orchestra, band etc.)
For smaller events and venues the choir can also perform with only 12 or 16 singers
